Day 1 – Wednesday, Jan 28 | Arrival in Gythio
Welcome to Laconia!
Morning pickup in Athens (city or airport). Coffee stop en route before arriving in seaside Gythio. Check in at Aktaion Hotel, stroll along the harbor, and enjoy a welcome dinner with sea views.
Day 2 – Thursday, Jan 29 | Olive Farm Experience
Spend the day with Yotis at his olive farm — a hands-on introduction to olive oil production followed by a hearty farm lunch with local wine. Return to Gythio for a relaxed evening or a casual drink by the water.
Day 3 – Friday, Jan 30 | Mystras, Sparta & Theodorakakos Winery
Morning drive to the Byzantine ruins of Mystras, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Guided walk among medieval churches and stone paths.
Short stop in Sparta before visiting the Theodorakakos Winery for a tasting of local varieties and stories of Laconian winemaking. Return to Gythio in the early evening.
Day 4 – Saturday, Jan 31 | Mani Peninsula & Diros Caves
Explore the dramatic Mani Peninsula, where sea and stone meet. Visit Areopoli, Limeni, and the spectacular Diros Caves, among Greece’s most famous underground wonders. Lunch at a seaside taverna before returning to Gythio for a free evening.
Day 5 – Sunday, Feb 1 | South Parnonas Villages & Kosmas Dinner
Drive through the southern Parnonas mountain villages. Optional short hike near Kosmas village for those who wish to stretch their legs and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
Gather for a cozy farewell dinner in Kosmas, famous for its view and local cuisine. Return to Gythio overnight.
Day 6 – Monday, Feb 2 | Return to Athens
Kalimera! Breakfast and check-out. Scenic ride back to Athens with a coffee stop on the way.

Payment & Cancellation Policy
Deposit:
A $400 deposit per person is required to reserve your spot.
The deposit is non-refundable but transferable to another person or to a future Greece Unplugged trip.
Final Balance:
Due by December 20, 2025
Cancellation Terms:
- Before December 20, 2025: Full refund of any payments made except the deposit
- Between December 20 – January 20, 2026: 50% refund of the full amount paid (excluding deposit)
- After January 20, 2026: No refunds available
- You may transfer your spot to another participant at any time with no penalty
